Jyana, Bhakti & Nishkaam karma seva are some of the easiest ways to attain the eternal peace. So these are the traditions that have been set in Mahadevi Tirth for all to follow and practise in natural ways. Since the establishment of Mahadevi Tirth, temples of different dieties have been made in Mahadevi Tirth to inspire the devotion as per one’s faith and bent of mind. The symbol of enlightment Akhand Jyoti has been enlightened forever by Shri Maharaj ji since 1966. A library, though small has been established in the temple to give an easy access to the treasure of knowledge. Shri Sharda Maa Seva Sangha, the school of culture is the branch of Shri Maha Devi Tirth Sathan, Kullu (Locally known as Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir). The Sangha is well known for its philanthropic, educational and cultural activities. The mission of the Sangha is Nishkaam Karma Seva i.e. Selfless service. To make the same possible the Sangha has contributed a lot towards the man kind:
  1. Muft Chikitsalaya – Free Dispensary – We have trained doctors in Accupressure and experienced visiting dotors in Allopathic from the local hospitals / clinics of the state. They together with the mission join hands to serve poor and the needy people.
  2. Gow shala – Cow, holy animal called Gow Mata is treated with respect. Here we give shelter to the stray cows and feed them.
  3. Bal Gopal Shiksha Kendra – Many ofthe children from the nearby villages are enrolled in the kendra and their educational grants are taken care by the Sangha
  4. Bhojanalaya – A 24X7 Bhandara is run to serve people. Here food is served to any person visiting the temple or passing by at anytime.
  5. Library – A small resevior of knowledge is made for the people who are interested in knowing their culture and their inner selves
  6. Dharamshala – dharamshala for the people has been created in the temple area so that the people visiting the temple can stay here for a longer period of time and enjoy the scenic beauty of the temple and kullu valley. For planning a stay in the Dharamshala please contact us at: 09418350992
